The Dream Machine Bicycle comes with a semi-recumbent riding position, high handlebars and a wide comfy seat to ensure that your cycling is more than relaxing. I’m wondering just how maneuverable that position is in heavy traffic, but for the glades and suburbs it’s probably fine enough. The only problem? Granny-itis. You’ll instantly be tagged as you dismount. Ah well… $599.00.
Its elevated handlebars (adjustable through a wide range to fit riders 5’3” and taller!) produce a natural, upright seating position you can maintain indefinitely, with a commanding view of the road ahead. A lightweight aluminum frame efficiently transfers pedal power to the pavement without flexing; 26” all-terrain Combi tires give a smooth ride on pavement or trails. Choose a thickly padded, oversized Super-Soft Velo saddle seat, or a 17” wide bench seat with no seat horn whatsoever.
