I will admit to being something of a Harry Potter fan. I know that some of you out there are with me, while others are shaking your heads in shame. To those in the latter, I ask, is it not better than Twilight? There’s something about the whimsy of the almost backwards way of life that is depicted throughout the movies that tickles my fancy. A very retro-modern style that reminds me of the Steampunk movement (which I also love).

Now, I ordinarily don’t get all that excited about Harry Potter tie-in products. I couldn’t care less about a wand that can change the channel on my TV. I have a perfectly good remote that works much better. However, I’ve taken a fancy to this Harry Potter Proclamation Board. This 34-inch tall replica looks much like the ones Mr. Filch hung up during the reign of Dolores Umbridge. Even without the Harry Potter reference, this still looks like an interesting take on the plain and boring whiteboard. The $50 price tag might have you second-guessing the purchase though.
