Energy Saving Charging Station turns off outlets when they’re no longer needed

There are a lot of things that a person can do to save money. Carpooling, avoiding eating out, and turning off lights in rooms that you aren’t using are all great ideas. However, one thing you might not realize is that you can save money by cutting off power to devices that have finished charging. To help with this is the Energy Saving Charging Station.

This charging station is really just a special 7-port power strip. It has five ports that can track when power is being drawn by a device. When it senses that the power is no longer needed, it will shut off the ports. Don’t worry though, there are two that will have continuous power, so that you don’t need to reset the power strip every time you switch off a lamp. If you really want to be conscious about how much energy you’re using, then the $25 price tag likely won’t stop you from buying one of these.
