We love and hate our phones, as they can keep us connected and entertained, but they all have pretty terrible battery life. Part way through the day and you’re looking at less than half of a charge. While some work places may have an outlet readily available, not everyone has that luxury, and need an alternative.
The Epiphany onE Puck makes charging your phone pretty simple just about anywhere. It is literally the shape of a puck, and uses the heat or coolness of an object to power up your phone. This object can be just about anything from the sounds of it, but it’s targeting hot or cold drinks. The red side is for the hot items, and blue for cool. From there, you only need for the light to come on that will let you know it’s time to start charging. This little contraption can handle anything that draws 1000mA or less, which means most phones or music players, but it has to connect through USB. One of these will cost $115, but keep in mind that if you don’t have one temperature extreme or the other present, this will be leaning on the side of useless.
