Facebook is a great tool for networking with your friends. However, if you have private information listed on the site, there’s always the worry that such data will fall into the hands of people that you don’t want it to. Well now the site has made it easier for 3rd party applications to access both your address and phone number.
When you try to use a 3rd party app, you get a dialogue box that asks if you want to allow it to access your information. Well now app makers can opt to request your contact information, so you should be aware of this when you mindlessly click the Allow button. Of course, one way to get around this is to just not list your private contact information.
