Hi folks, if you’re surfing around today with Kaspersky Labs anti-virus installed, be aware that a bug in their program is falsely declaring a Trojan in Google Adsense ads on various sites around the Web.
DON’T PANIC!
The guys at Kaspersky are busy working on a fix to the problem, and no, you haven’t been infected. There is no Trojan.
Don't worry, for a few days you will be running a free ad blocker with a pig squeal.
Heh, not so much a squeal, more a violin stab. But it's going to give some people palpitations until they clear it up, no question. :)
I use other virus scan programs and getting the same alert, so how can it be a bug in Kaspersky Labs?
Whoa, that's really interesting! If that's the case it looks like it could be a problem with Adsense being attacked, which would *NOT* be funny.
What a/v program are you using Andrea and have you checked their forums?
Mmm…according to this thread, other anti-virus progams are also reporting it as a false positive. It looks like a pretty naff issue.

I wonder if someone has deliberately injected something into Adsense to trigger this stuff just for fun or as an exercise?

But as Google is evil and trying to track everything EVERYONE ever does online, how is this a FALSE positive?
