FastStone Photo Resizer is a simple application for batch image manipulations. You can rename files, resize, convert formats, rotate, change canvas size or colour depth, add a watermark or border, and more all through a simple interface. The program even lets you see a preview before you go through with making all those edits.
I’m a prolific photographer and as my camera produces 3MB images, uploading them to web folders is fairly tedious. I can open each file and resize it manually, but when I’m doing more than 5 or 6 this gets pretty boring. Then there are the times I find I wouldn’t mind doing a quick rename of all those silly DSC**** file names to something humanly relevant, like “DinnerParty****”.
