FreeLanguageTranslator – because we all just need to get along

Here’s the deal. You can never ever have too many free language translation programs on your computer. It’s a fact. This particular version, The FreeLanguageTranslator, offers a basic but easy to use front end interface to Google translate.

Cut and paste your text into the box, select from the large list of Google listed languages (or use Auto-Detect) and press Translate. You can set up custom dictionaries and there’s a translation accuracy bar along the bottom of the results to help you gauge just how dangerous the translated text is likely to be. Windows only and you’ll need .NET.

?????, ???? ?????? ???? ??????? ?????!

This is a desktop language translator application using the Google translation service. It adds more features to the existing service and addresses some of its shortcomings. It requires Net 2.0 or higher to run.

  • It has all the 'must have' features other commercial applications charge for.
This one is not only free but intuitive, speedy and with an uncluttered user interface.
