FromWhereToWhere organizes your browser history

Have you ever tried digging through your browser history, in the attempt to find one specific page that you visited weeks ago? It can actually be difficult to trudge through mounds of links in the default history. If you find yourself in this situation very often, and use Firefox, you might consider downloading a handy extension called FromWhereToWhere.

This extension helps to organize your history into threads. This means that now not only do you see the chronological history of pages, but you can see how you got to each. If you remember a Google search that lead you to the site, but aren’t quite sure which one it was, you can find the thread for that search, and see the results you clicked on. Another nice touch is that when you click on a link in your history, it doesn’t bump it to the top of your history. Rather, it stays right in the thread where it originally was found. Hopefully this will help you find things a little easier next time you go searching for a page you visited in the past.
