Fuel Economy Regulations are Good – regulations are positive forces

It’s pretty official, fuel efficient vehicles are better for the environment. Though their manufacture may take more to meet regulations, the end result is more sustainable than cars which are not fuel efficient. Rest easy, that mystery has been solved.

Recently, there was some doubt cast on the good that fuel efficiency regulations actually did and after a second review, it has been determined that fuel efficient cars actually do help to cut down on overall pollution and are just as safe as others.

Although the best option for the environment would be to drive a hybrid or full electric vehicle. Of course, that’s not an option for everyone yet. As long as traditional cars are still being put on the market, fuel economy regulations are there to help cut down on the amount of waste they cause.
