There are times when it would be nice to see something on a website in a larger version, even when there’s no obvious way to do it. For example, if you enjoy playing flash games on some of the free sites, they’re often stuck in small boxes instead of full screen, which makes them less immersive.
Fullscreen Anything is a free extension for the Chrome web browser which lets you explode any image, video or game element into a full screen version. The developer says it’s compatible with most videos and games, although we’d expect that there will be a fair number which will fail if you try this trick.
But for doing some general large screen browsing it’s cool to have an option like this, especially since you can toggle back and forth quickly with a button press. The extension also comes with a shortkey (ctrl+space), which makes it even easier to use than the navigation bar button. One for the toolbox?
