GAME REVIEW: 12 is better than 6 (Nintendo Switch)

I’m always interested in games being funded with Kick Starter. Most of these are made by small companies who do it for the love of gaming and not for the money.

12 is better than 6 is a game that’s drawn by hand with pen and paper. This does give a very unique visual experience, which I’ve never seen before. The game is based in the Far West and you play as a cowboy who has to shoot bad guys.

This top-down game visually looks awesome and has a very niche style with the black and white. The blood splatters and reaction times in the game are great and the soundtrack is amazing as well. It’s a one shot kill, which means that this is a challenging game.

The storyline itself is okay. You play as an escaped Mexican slave who needs his stealth and sometimes hardcore shooting abilities to survive. When playing you’ll need to remember to cock you gun and you’re responsible for reloading each bullet in the chamber.

I needed to get used to the controls at first. When you die, you don’t press a ‘restart’ button: the level restarts automatically, which caused me to shoot from the start more than once. Overall 12 is better than 6 is a unique game with good mechanics and a cool story line. There are far worse games you can buy for 10$.
