Gentle Mouse – takes away the pain of using your computer

Most of us spend many hours parked in front of a computer screen every week. If you’re one of the fortunate ones who don’t suffer from repetitive motion symptoms (yet) consider yourself very lucky. I’ve been battling carpal tunnel, tennis elbow and a host of other ailments for a couple of years. The worst part for me, the simple task of clicking a mouse, clicking a mouse for more than 10 minutes becomes painful. However, after scouring the Internet for years, I finally found a solution.

Gentle Mouse is a nifty little software program that does the clicking for you and it works wonderfully. You move your mouse to the spot on the screen that you want to click and hold it their for a nanosecond. Boxes will appear on your screen asking you if you want to left click, right click or double click, you slide your mouse over to the box of your choice and bingo! It does the clicking for you.

I’ve been using the software for over a year now and it’s installed on all my computers. It does take a day or two to get used to it but once you’ve mastered the technique, it’s a valuable tool. Your wrist, fingers and shoulders will love you for it. The program is quite pricey at $71.94, but there is a free trial download and anyway, what price pain relief?
