The Sonic Screwdriver better watch its back, there’s a new game in town. The Groundbreaker is a multi-tool suited for wiring “adventures”. Of course, if you describe the work of wiring anything as an adventure, I’m not entirely sure I should trust you with the job.

This is an all in one tool that includes pretty much everything you could possibly need for any sort of wiring job short of the wires themselves. But if you’ve got some wires, it’ll take you from the begging to the end of a job. There are the basics like wire strippers and pliers but it also sports a dry wall saw and a utility blade. The handles come off and transform into even more tools like some sort of magical bag of holding in tool form. There’s also a handy pouch for carrying the Groundbreaker and extra blades.

It comes in at $129.99 and might make a good gift for the electrician in your life. Or yourself if you’re the electrician in your life. A word of caution, it probably won’t help you against Daleks. For that you’re going to need the Screwdriver.
