Get It Next! – eBay search done properly

Getitnext

Get It Next! A very cool and very free eBay search interface that makes searching on eBay actually pleasant. Yes shocking isn’t it? Lots of neat features like saved searches, category, bargain and Buy it Now searches and the results are Web 2.0 clear, clean and a snap to use.  You know there’s a problem, don’t you, when a default interface is so bad that people develop alternatives as  business idea? Definitely worth using if you’re an eBay’er, but it is beta – which is probably why the internationalisation doesn’t seem to work at all.

We are a bunch of eBay junkies who have spent countless hours buying and selling on eBay. We think eBay is one of the best places to buy and sell items on the Internet. We created this site because, like you, we love the eBay concept. However, after many years of using the site, we grew tired of all the time we spent sifting through 1000’s of auctions to find exactly what we were looking for and/or discover the best deal.

  • Nice site…. definitely worth a try. Cool web 2.0 features and the search results are surprisingly accurate.

  • There has been a lot of noise on the web about this site lately and I eventually gave in and checked it out and after doing so I have actually found myself using eBay again. This searching feature is just unreal compared to the ebay search engine considering it actually finds you what you typed in the search box! If you are new to eBay or even an intensive user, I would highly recommend checking out this site, it brings back the joy to finding great deals on ebay!

  • Get it Next – is not Get it FAST!

I tried this site and while it is a very attractive interface I found it to be a very slow method to browse listing or to search for a specific item. I suppose it could be a good introduction to eBay for the uninitiated but for power users and shoppers looking for specific items.
I will stick with the eBay search and recommend it to my clients.

  • US only? I couldn’t find a way to configure it for the UK eBay site.

  • There is a feature to change countries (do a search and click on Change Zip Code bottom left) but it doesn’t seem to work.
