Left handed people get no respect. This is such a right hand dominate world. I mean, I’ve never even considered the fact that game controllers are set up to favor my right-handedness. The Goofy Foot, the classic NES controller built for people who use their left, has opened my eyes.
The market for this product is obviously super niche. Left handed people who want to play classic NES games which in 2016 may be more than I considered when I started this sentence, taking into account that the NES Classic is completely sold out. Anyway, this controller reverses the orientation of the buttons for left handed players.
Even if you’re not interested, check out this Kickstarter page anyway. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought it was written IN the 80s. This controller is compatible with NES systems as well as combo systems on the market. You can also order a DIY kit and mod your own if you like. You can get your own Goofy Foot for $46.
