Not long ago we told you about a very handy Chrome extension that allowed you to block certain sites from appearing in your Google search results. That’s great if you use Chrome, but if you’re say, a Firefox user, it might not help so much. Well fear not, as that capability is coming to your favorite search engine, regardless of what your browser of choice is.
Google has announced that they are adding the ability to block any site from their search results, right from any browser. As long as you’re signed into a Google account, you should start seeing the phrase Block all example.com results. next to the Cached link. That’s all it takes. For those wondering, they will not be taking blocked sites into account for page rankings, at least not for the time being.
