The new Google 10 to the 100th Project is a great crowdsourcing idea from the search giant. The project is a ‘call for ideas to change the world’. All you have to do is come up with a great idea for helping as many people as possible, and if it gets enough votes, you could receive funding and support to make it all happen. There’s $10 million up for grabs (no, not $700 billion, Frank). Here’s the form for you to fill out. Good luck.
[My only small worry is the fact that the kind of ideas we REALLY need to cope with our current burning issues will probably need such radical and left field solutions that they won’t ever pass a popular voting test. But hey, what do I know?]
Criteria:
- Reach: How many people would this idea affect?
- Depth: How deeply are people impacted? How urgent is the need?
- Attainability: Can this idea be implemented within a year or two?
- Efficiency: How simple and cost-effective is your idea?
- Longevity: How long will the idea’s impact last?
I have entered the Google 10 to the 100th project competition1
The link should appear in my name.
If you have time to take a read would very much like to know what you think of my ideas?
