GPS Pet Locator Brings Rover Back Home

lost dog

Losing a pet is heartbreaking. There’s almost nothing worse than when your dog runs off and you’re stuck wondering whatever became of them. Did they find another home? Did something terrible happen? With the GPS Pet Locator from PocketFinder, you can help keep this from happening.

Micro chipping is great with pets since it will help them be returned if they are found but it does nothing to help you find them. If Fido has run off somewhere remote, such as on a trip to the mountains, this handy collar attachment will save you a real life replay of Homeward Bound.

The tracker attaches to the dog’s collar and is under two inches wide. You can track the collar through your iOS or Android device using the app.

The downside of this product is that it does have a monthly subscription service which can add up. However, there’s no contract so it can be cancelled at any time. You could potentially pick it up for summer travels and then cancel it when you’re back home.

The GPS Pet Locator is $129.99 and is suited for dogs that are 20 lbs and up.

  • Will it work when your dog has been eaten by a Coyote or Mountain Lion. Because a lot of “missing” pets have actually been victims of the increasing amount of wild predators invading our suburbs.
