Let’s face it, there’s no reason why electric scooters shouldn’t be all shapes and sizes. After all they’re just two wheels and a seat or two. We may be accustomed to more conventional styling, but we’re guessing that as the technology improves and motors get smaller, we’ll start seeing a lot of interesting new formats.
This Green Power E-Bike for instance is rather interesting. Not only is it a two seater, which is unusual for an electric runabout, but it also features a rather fast charge time of just 3 to 5 hours. Now we’ll be the first to admit it’s not the prettiest bike in the world – although if you hold a hand over one eye and squint it does look a little like a Harley Davison at the back, maybe – but if it’s as practical as it seems that may not be so much of a problem.
You can buy it in a variety of colors, all with the same specs, and because it will carry up to 330 lbs of pilot and passenger weight, it should suit most people who want to use it as a quick shopper, rather than lugging the Mercedes out of the garage. The other interesting thing is it’s priced at a very reasonable $650 (unless you buy it on Amazon, where it will cost you a stonking $1700 + $320 shipping). We think someone’s having a laugh.
