Greenhouse Gases to Liquid Fuel – process turns carbon dioxide to formic acid

Greenhouse gasses are not our friends but a electrocatalysis reactor can recycle a common one to produce liquid fuel solutions with renewable electricity which is amazing! The machine uses carbon dioxide and spits out formic acid.

The production of formic acid right now is expensive in both money and energy costs. This system is much more efficient. Their system eliminates the need for agents that would contaminate the formic acid allowing them to deliver it in its pure form.

Although still being tested, the system is designed to scale up for industry purposes. In time, this may become a viable process for many industries to utilize. Formic acid is used for a variety of things but mostly as an antibacterial agent for livestock feed.
