Heated Insoles keep your feet toasty all winter long

Winter is coming, which means a few months of having cold feet. No matter how thick your socks are, or how nice your boots are, your feet will eventually start to get cold outside. And we all know that once your feet are cold, there’s nothing you can do to warm them back up, short of taking off your shoes and hovering them over a heater. Of course, if you had a heater in each shoe, you wouldn’t have that problem. And that’s exactly the idea behind these Rechargeable Heated Insoles.

Good for up to eight hours of warming, these insoles promise to keep your feet at a steady 98.6 degrees for the better part of a day. This is achieved by a small heating pad, rechargeable battery and a temperature sensor. Once the temperature drops too low, the heater will kick on and get your feet nice and toasty again. Just remember to take them out and charge them each night, as you don’t want to get caught with cold feet ever again. This $80 item might seem expensive now, but your feet will thank you.

  • I like the idea of these heated insoles, but the thought of putting a lithium-ion battery inside a boot with my foot is a little worrying. If the battery whacks out and decides it’s thermal runaway time, I sure don’t want to be up a ladder in a snowstorm when it happens.

  • If you are up a ladder in a snow storm, you have more problems than just cold feet.
