Hiku makes sure you don’t forget the milik!

Going grocery shopping is a pretty regular occurrence. You’re always going to need to restock the kitchen, get detergent, toiletries, and other household items. However, it seems that no matter how hard you try, you always forget one or two items, and only remember them when you get home.

If you’d rather not have to deal with this memory slip again, then you might like the Hiku. It’s a scanner that will help you keep track of what you need to replace. When you’re running low on an item, you’ll just scan its barcode and it will appear on a list in a corresponding app that is available on Android, iOS, and PC. If you can’t seem to find the barcode, you can also use the talk-to-text function on the app that will write down whatever you say. This will be a open source product, so you will be able to use it for other apps and services if you’d like. It will cost about $79, and will be delivered sometime in March.
