Iblazr – get rid of those bad flash phone snaps

Cell phones are getting really good for photography. Not just selfies, but general snaps too, since their resolution is now so good. But try taking shots in a darker location and it’s a different story, because the inbuilt flash of your phone really doesn’t cut it. But now there’s a tiny add-on which promises to deliver better shots in the gloom, and it has its own battery too.

The Iblazr is an external flash module for your phone, and despite having an ‘i’ at the beginning of its name, works with both iOS and Android systems. It provides 70 degree flash and connects to your phone or tablet via the 3.5mm jack. This flash is small but powered with 4 LED lights to give it a monster glow when going off and it has its own rechargeable battery so it does not drain your phone. It can even be used sort of remotely with the flexible charger to give you more control over the quality of the light.

The flash comes with a USB charge cord as well as a diffuser to help with your budding photography skills. The Iblazr in both plastic and aluminum finish and starts at $49.99.
