iBox Nano – 3D printing in a tiny package, controlled by your phone

We can all agree that 3D printing is one of the coolest things to come out in the last decade. The printers are like the future, they take ideas and literally print them into being. As the technology has become better, consumer models have been popping up all over the place. The iBox Nano is a tiny 3D printer for all of your tiny 3D printing needs.

This is allegedly the smallest 3D printer that you can buy and was made with the casual user in mind. You don’t even need a computer to use this thing. It works with your phone. The system is browser based and ready to roll from pretty much any device because there’s no software to install. You do have to have internet though.

The downside to this printer is that it’s super small. Sure it’s ready to go at the touch of a button but you can only make very small things with it. Sorry, no cool prosthetic will be made on this, unless it’s for someone very tiny. It would be good for jewelry, game models, or custom party favors.

The iBox Nano is currently available for pre-order and will ship in February.
