iCEPhone – the Swiss army knife of mobile phones?

Icephone

The iCEPhone is being marketed as a versatile four in one device. First it’s a quadband, 3G, touchscreen enabled cell phone, next it’s a QWERTY keyboard mini-PDA, then comes the games console with full function controller pad and joystick and finally it’s a GPS satellite navigation system.

The thing comes with twin SIM slots and a MicroSD memory card slot as well as WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3.1 megapixel camera. The really unusual thing about it though is the on-board first aid software, medical history storage and a caller collect international emergency helpline. It’s a nice spec (apart from the fact that it runs Windows Mobile) but we suspect that all those interface controls may make the product less than pocket friendly.

We’ll find out Q2 next year. Oh and it’s not to be confused with this product. [Via AVING]

The world’s first three panel micro-notebook touch phone…Originally designed to meet the exacting requirements of the British military, the iCEphone is a combination of two exciting new products that can either work independently or together: a cross-platform medical software package and a phone that sets a new industry standard in convergence technology.
