Impossible Instant Lab – bring your photos offline and into the real world

Impossible Instant Lab

Once upon a time ago, actual honest-to-goodness print photos that you could hold in your hand were everywhere, mainly because that was the only choice. These days, people are sharing pictures of their pets, their lunch, their duckface, everything. And there’s no physical proof anywhere because it’s all a bunch of 1’s and 0’s. Why not drag those digital images into the real world?

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with digital photos but wouldn’t it be nice to occasionally see those images on something bigger than your iPhone screen? The Impossible Instant Lab is the 21st century equivalent of the old Polaroid camera. Just pull up the image on your iPhone that you want to print, place the phone on the Instant Lab cradle, and push ‘Eject.’ Within seconds, you’ll be holding an actual photograph of the 275th selfie you’ve taken of yourself. FYI: Please don’t print a selfie. It just screams egomaniac.

There’s no need to worry about printer ink because this handy gadget doesn’t create prints by spraying ink onto paper (how 20th century); instead, the film undergoes a photochemical reaction that creates the image.

The world went from physical to digital, but you can reverse the cycle for $383.49.
