Indaba Music – browser based online music mixing and collaboration

Image

Indaba Music is a online community where musicians can mingle, upload their music, share ideas and even collaborate as if they were together in a recording studio. The heart of the system is the Digital Audio Workstation which allows you mix and edit music in your browser from any computer. It’s completely browser based so there’s no software to download but data is cached locally so you don’t need to continually download stuff you’ve edited.

You can also start a public or private recording session and musicians from anywhere in the world can upload their music for you to mix, edit and collaborate on. I guess now you can cancel that big trip to Nashville to record your folk-metal-polka album.

Indaba Music is an international community of musicians, where artists network and collaborate in online recording sessions. Combine tracks recorded in different places using our online mixing console. Create original music, find musicians around the world, and showcase your work.

  • Ooh neat. I wonder if this 'feels' like real time collaboration? Sigh, if only I could play some instrument properly. :)

    • What no spoons?
