Clocks come in a variety of styles, although shape wise they’re usually round. So as far as basic design goes this clock is pretty standard, but that’s where ‘standard’ ends. With the Infinitely Mirrored Anachronism, you have a DIY LED clock that puts a whole new spin on time.
The Infinitely Mirrored Anachronism, IMA for short, is in every way a unique clock. The hands are color coded LED lights that make their way around a light up face. Red is for hours, green is your trusty minute hand, and blue is for seconds. The lights and mirrored surface create the illusion that the clock exists in an infinity chamber, much like the relentlessness of time. The color mode comes preprogramed with a default, but you can change it.
The fun thing for techy individuals is that you actually build this yourself. It comes with a handful of easy to assemble parts, no tools required, and takes a few minutes to set up. The clock is powered via USB cable, which comes included in your build kit. Bonus, depending on which way you install the second mirror, you get a slightly different effect. The Infinitely Mirrored Anachronism is $60 plus shipping.
