Marmitekiparty

The Marmitek iParty. Clip it to your iPod and it will automatically invite loads of beautiful people to your next social gathering. Celebrities, politicians, cute animals, you name it. What? Oh OK, it’s a wireless iPod transmitter. Yes yes, that’s it. No it doesn’t make your music sound better or create peaceful waves of nostalgic bliss. It just beams your very loud techno/hiphop/punk mashups to the $20.00 Wal-Mart stereo system your aunt bought you for Xmas. I still think my version’s better. £44.95.

The iParty consists of a transmitter and a receiver. A 3.5 mm jack plug cable is also included, to make the iParty suitable for use with other MP3 players. Two rechargeable batteries and a 230V power adapter are included. The transmitter frequency is 864 MHz. The signal range of this nifty device is 15 metres. The signal even travels through walls and ceilings.

  • That antena looks way too much like a tampon.

  • Someone posted at Gizmodo: “They could broaden the target market segment by adding a vibrator funtion to the antennae.”

I guess this proves my point.
