I’m an iPad owner, and I have to say that it really is one of the most useful gadgets I’ve purchased in the last couple of years, save my phone. I have a fairly useful stand that does a good job of holding it upright, and allowing me to rotate between portrait and landscape modes. However, it does require a flat surface, and doesn’t have a lot of flexibility. Something like this iProp would be far more useful.
The iProp is a really large flexible iPad stand. When I say large, you actually set this one on the floor, and it will let you use the iPad while sitting in a chair, on the couch or even lying in bed. The stand is a full 3-feet tall, which should suffice for most uses. Yes, I confess that I would be lazy enough to use this while reading books in bed. Though I’m not sure that I’d be willing to shell out $80 for a stand.
Or, you could get a little keyboard that attaches to the bottom and sits on top of your lap… like a laptop! It will let you do a bunch more stuff too!
