KeepMeClose – keep track of your kids at the amusement park

Keepmeclose

KeepMeClose is being marketed as the only mobile phone application for tracking your children in public areas which uses low power, low radiation technology. This sounds good, as does the fact that it makes use of your own mobile handset via an add-on adapter, while the child wears an unobtrusive bracelet.

The shocking news from the site is the fact that 27% of families visiting amusement parks over a 12 month period lost one of their children. Er…isn’t that a little careless folks? Anyhoo, watch out for something like this to appear in a Wally World near you soon.

Low-Power radio-frequency (RF) wireless mesh network implemented onsite. The network elements efficient battery consumption allows for an implementation process free of connectivity to a wire line power network. The built-in mesh capability of the network elements streamlines the network configuration process. ULR transmitters, which are specially design as water resistant and tamper poof bracelets, are placed on the child. A silicon ergonomic design makes the bracelet a child-friendly product which enables the child to freely enjoy his time onsite with minimal affect on his activities.
