If you’ve spent much time on photo manipulation, you know how accurate you have to be with some of those settings. And you know just how much of a pain in the neck it can be to go through each setting that needs changed and move the little slider with your mouse. Wouldn’t it be easier if you just had a physical knob that you could adjust, like musicians do with their audio mixes? Well if you use Adobe Lightroom, then you can do exactly that.
A free plugin called Knobroom lets you program any MIDI controller to work with Adobe Lightroom. Can you imagine now having access to potentially a dozen or more sliders and knobs, each assigned to a different function? Sure, it might be hard to keep track of them all to begin with, but eventually it will become second nature. You’re only limited by what MIDI controller you get (and can afford). If you’re also a recording musician, then you’re in luck, as one expensive piece of equipment can now pull double duty.

On a PC, also try Paddy (www.Paddy-for-lightroom.com). It's free, doesn't create the History clutter, seems a bit faster, and comes with lots of other goodies (support for key mapping, external keyboards, macros, etc)
