M341 Slim Bar Phone – is this the cheapest quadband phone in the world?

Smartphone phooey, who needs ’em? Let’s face it, all we want to do most of the time is make calls, send text messages and keep track of the time. Wristwatches, what are they? All this RAM, ROM, apps and Internet stuff is for the birds, especially since it usually gives you a battery life of less than 3 minutes and a severe case of touchscreen RSI. Nope, these fancy doo-dads are all right for the kids, but a real man needs a proper handset to work with.

So if you’re one of them thar anti-smartphone persuasion people, here’s the product for you. The M341 Slim Bar Phone is probably the world’s cheapest full blown quadband handset in the world right now, even though it comes with some interestingly interesting features, as well as an integrated flashlight.

For a start it comes with worldwide quadband operation, Bluetooth, a 0.1 megapixel camera (any more of them pixels is for fancy boys), dual SIM slots, a 2.2 inch mega screen, integrated analog TV (for countries that time forgot) and a massively powerful 208Mhz processor. It’s strictly 2G only (you want more Gs, go bungee jumpin’), supports microSD cards up to 4GB and can play MP3 and AVI video, so you’ll be rockin’ the night away with this baby, no question.

And the price for all this awesome technology on a stick? A piffling $29.89 or £18.44 SIM free and clear to your pocket. The memory card for your cousin’s hand-me-down iPhone cost him more than that, right?
