They allow you to create a virtual shelf of household products (cleaners, health & beauty supplies, paper goods, etc.) that you typically buy. My favourite product is definately my Ipod Nano, it is one cool piece of technology. I can watch movies, episodes of my favourite TV shows and store my entire music collection on one handy little device. I love the sleek design too!

I think the best everyday carry tool I have is my Leatherman Wave. It has the perfect mix of tools for me. Most important being two sizes of both Philips and straight screwdrivers (glasses screw size and a medium size), and a saw. As someone who does a lot of stuff outdoors (hiking, horseback riding) you would be surprised how often a small saw comes in handy. Pliers, file, straight and serrated knife blades and scissors round out the most used items for me. Easily rides in my back pocket.

Heard a few years back that most elevators have an express mode option, it overrides other floor selections (people on different floors waiting for the elevator, not neccessarily other people in the same elevator) and allows you to go straight to the floor you selected. If I remember correctly, most, but not all elevators have this mode. Try it by pressing the floor you want to proceed to and the "door close" button similtaniously. It worked from what I can tell, unless there was no one between the 10th and 1st floor while I was testing this. I haven't tried to see if it will work if other floors are selected in the elevator before hand.
Mark S – that is the best tip ever for someone who works on the 11th floor and is sick of stoppping at every floor on the way up or down. Those who get on and off at floor 1 cause particular "lift-rage" considering there is a flight of stairs, although I do always check to make sure don't have any obvious limps before tutting loudly. I can't even remember what my favourite gadget is now – the lift trick has blown my mind and I will be sure to test it out his very afternoon
I am glad someone thinks so too, it sounds too simple to work, but makes total sense to have a built in express mode. You will have to let me know if it worked, and if it did- what kind of elevator it was. Don't share it with too many people in your building, you'll never get a lift to stop on your floor again :)
