The steamroller helped pave the way for the modern world, literally. This toy is a perfect model of a 19th-century toy version of an actual steamroller. It’s a copy of a toy modeled off of an actual piece of equipment. Much meta.

This model runs on tap water and fuel tablets (you get 20 of them). Fill the boiler with some water, insert two fuel tablets to heat said water and you’re all ready to go with your own steam powered roller. It will travel forward in the direction of the lever for about 15 minutes before it runs out of juice. You can’t install a new driveway with this mini model but it is still pretty cool to look at.
