Who says digital cameras have to be square, boring and grey? Why can’t they be different, like our Aunt Clare was different with her chickens and the custard and all that stuff? Well now the marketing suits seem to be listening, if this little gizmo is anything to go by.
The Megane Glasses Camera is a fun digital camera which is shaped just like a pair of ordinary eyeglasses. OK, not exactly, you can tell they’re not real, but the shape is definitely good enough to get you some amused looks when you start taking snaps on your vacation.
The camera runs on a USB rechargeable battery, supports microSD cards and offers both 30fps video and 2048×1536 pixel still image capture. It will run for around 60 mins of video on a charge. Don’t expect high grade image results, because it’s only 2 megapixel resolution, but it’s not about the pixel density is it, it’s about the LULS. Priced at $52.00 in a variety of shockingly bad taste colors.
