MoodCast – track your moods, get to know yourself better

As we age, we start to pick up on certain moods and patterns in ourselves. Like, I know if I wake up too early that I’ll be grouchy and non-functional all day long. Big patterns like that are easy to identify but what if you start to notice that you’re upset a lot in the afternoons but don’t know why? MoodCast is a mood tracking app that helps identify patterns and build habits.

It’s one part tracker and one part journal, sort of. It tracks your general mood and lets you write small notes in the app to keep track of what is happening in your day. Overtime, your behavior patterns start to emerge and you might find out that your afternoon blues are caused by missing your breaks or needing a snack.

It can also help you figure out what times are best to work on habits that you want to encourage like adding a workout to your day. You can see when you were most successful and felt great vs when it was the opposite. Check out the free app in the Google Play store.
