Narrative Clip – Recording your life to fulfill that sense of self-importance

Narrative Clip

Smartphones allow us to have a camera with us 24/7, but there are still moments that slip by because we weren’t able to grab the phone in time to snap a picture. Now, all the moments – or at least most of them – can be recorded for posterity, and all you have to do is show up.

We’re pretty sure our lives aren’t exciting enough for something like the Narrative Clip. It takes a picture every thirty seconds, which means there will be tons of images in our photo gallery that run along these lines –

  • Sitting and watching TV
  • Sitting and watching TV
  • Sitting and watching TV
  • In the kitchen getting a snack (Ohhhhhh! A change in scenery; exciting.)

However, even we can see the benefit of occasionally having a camera that fires away twice a minute, regardless what else we might be doing. Out for a jog, enjoying Mother Nature’s sights as you work up a sweat? On vacation or at a sporting event? A photo every thirty seconds might possibly reveal a bit of excitement you missed the first time around.

Of course, you’re not locked into that half-minute cycle. If something comes up and you know you want a picture of it, just tap Narrative twice and it will take a photo.

The camera’s batteries won’t need to be recharged until after approximately 2 days of use, but you probably won’t even be aware of a low battery if you’re consistent with downloading your images from the clip to your PC because the camera charges while transferring files.

The tiny camera without buttons comes in three colors (white, grey, orange), and it’s available for $279… which isn’t bad when it comes to guaranteeing all those special – and not so special – moments in your life are recorded for future generations to admire.

  • $279 for 8gb storage and 5 megapixel? Do you know how much crack that will buy… something tells me they do, because they are most assuredly smoking it.
