Who even has a TV anymore? Well, lots of people but a huge amount of viewers have switched over to streaming through services like Hulu and Netflix in favor of waiting to watch shows during primetime. Still, there’s something about flipping channels and viewing actual TV. Get that same feeling with Neverthink, the web service and app that mimics TV viewing.
Neverthink streams videos from YouTube and other sources to give you a TV like feeling. You aren’t really in control of what comes on next nor can you pick your own content. It’s more like TV than say, going through Prime Video.
It’s not a perfect mimic because you can control your content somewhat. It has 30 “channels” that are genre specific. So the art channel, for example, plays videos that are about art. Sports are about sports, News is news, food is food, so on and so forth. But there’s no TV Guide so you’re subject to whatever auto plays. The app is Apple only but there is a website where you can sit back and enjoy some premium web content.
At least the company is appropriately named.
Haha! I thought the same but it was fun to play with. It served up content that I hadn’t seen before/
