Onaroo OK to Wake Children’s Alarm Clock – the alarm that keeps the kids in bed until a reasonable hour

Kids are terrible at time. Young kids especially, mostly because they haven’t really caught on to the whole concept of it yet. They don’t quite understand 5 AM is way too early to want breakfast because they don’t know what 5 AM is and they’re hungry. The Onaroo OK to Wake Children’s Alarm Clock is the little clock hoping to help parents rest for just a bit longer.

This clock is less an alarm and more a teaching tool. Because young children may not yet know their numbers let alone the more complex theory of time, this clock instead relies on color changing to alert your child when a good time to make the trek down the hall would be. The alarm works as a nightlight and glows a soft yellow when it’s time to be in bed. When it’s “ok to wake” then the color turns green, the universal shade for go.

There is a normal alarm function on the clock for older kids who want to wake themselves up and that can be programed just like the ok to wake times for younger kids. The Onaroo OK to Wake Children’s Alarm Clock is $29.95.
