Simon Elvins’ Paper Record Player. Cute. Very cute.
To play the record the handle needs to be turned in a clockwise direction at a steady 331/3 rpm. The paper cone then acts as a pick up and amplifies the sound enough to make it audible.

Stunning photographs. It amazes me that this works. Who needs electricity anways:) This kind of record player could come in handy in the event that your regular turntable loses its needle – just pull out the paper-turntable and spin. BTW does it play paper records too?
Very cool!
I’ve post in Italian language!
If this doesn’t do in your remaining vynal records, nothing will!!
There is no way to use this thing without damaging the groovs of the record!!
How do you make this?
