Planon PrintStik 905ME – is that a Bluetooth printer in your pocket or….?

Ever had the urge to print something while out and about? Something important, like a boarding pass or a mobile ticket? Frustrating isn’t it? And sometimes costly, since many airlines now charge you a penalty for forgetting to print off your boarding pass before reaching the airport (we’re looking at you Mr Stinky Ryanair).

Well the Planon PrintStik 905ME Bluetooth Printer could be the gadget you’re looking for. Not only is it small enough at 10 x 1 inch to fit into your pocket, but it comes complete with a paper cartridge which is good for 20 prints. More than enough to get you onto that plane.

It can connect via USB to you Mac or PC or via Bluetooth to Android, Blackberry and WinMobile PocketPC phones. A 3 hour charge gives enough power to print off up to 30 pages, and it can produce up to 3 pages per minute. Maximum resolution is a paltry 200×400 dpi however, and of course it’s monochrome, but as long as you don’t need to print out holiday snaps it should be good enough for most practical uses.

It comes with a quickstart guide, a USB cable, wall charger, soft case and an installation disc and is priced at $199.99 or CA $314.00
