Plastics are not great for the environment. They are tossed into the waste cycle which means they end up in all sorts of places they should never go. One of the best solutions we have in fighting this is by recycling but many people just don’t. The UK is joining a number of other countries in rewarding people by recycling.

Well actually, people are just getting their money back. Disposable plastic bottles will have a small tax attached to them. If you return them to deposit center, you’ll get your money back. It’s not much per bottle but the amount adds up over time.

This is still in the planning stages but other European countries have already adopted the system and it seems to be working out fairly well. Hopefully this will turn out to be a convenient solution for people so that we can all help keep the planet a cleaner place to live.
