Portable Laundry Pod lets you wash your clothes on the go

When you are out camping, or are on a business trip and don’t want to spend money on a laundromat, there are times in which you wish you had a portable washing machine. The big clunky piece of machinery you have at home is meant for washing giant loads of things, but what about for times when you only need to wash a few shirts here and there?

The Portable Laundry Pod is a very small, lightweight washing machine that only needs soap, water, and good old-fashioned elbow grease to clean your clothes. It has a plastic basin which houses a basket that you manually put into the spin cycle. After about 10 minutes of churning, your clothes will have that clean linen smell, and you can drain the water out of a hose in the bottom. A quick rinse and tumble again in the basin and you only need to dry your clothes to wear them. Unfortunately it’s not a cheap investment, clocking in at $100.

  • I suppose you could pack some of your clothes IN the pod, but it's still pretty bulky to take on a business trip.
