Power on, dude.

Powerpad300

The new PowerPad 300300Wh of Lithium Ion SuperPolymer battery technology gives you 24 hours run time for your laptop or whatever. Need more? Tsk, get a life. Immediately. $799.00. [Thanks Marc]

The PowerPad can be 80% charged in less than 8 hours. Simply charge the product over night and ignore plugs and ac adapters for the rest of the day!… The PowerPad gives you an uninterrupted power source so you won’t worry about your screen dimming or your hard drive spinning down. Wherever you go and whatever you do, the PowerPad will keep you going long after other batteries have let you down.

  • I’ve owned an Electrovaya battery and it has not been pleasant. It was fine the first couple of times, then it simply stopped working. I called them to request a repair. The tech I spoke with told me that if it was over 6 months old they wouldn’t cover anything, and it would be cheaper for me to simply buy a new one. I’m not in the habit of buying $300 batteries that work three times before needing to be replaced. I’d give this device a pass.

  • Hmm…not a great recommendation I must say. Sounds like a consumer law issue to me, that’s simply not acceptable value for money is it?
