Powertools PLAYMAT 4 in 1 workshop gives your kids more creative freedom

When kids reach an age where they sort of understand their surroundings, they immediately want to do whatever you’re doing. If you’re working on the car, they want to have a wrench in their hands. Should you be building a shed, they want to hold the hammer and nails. While this is all good and well, kids oftentimes don’t have the best judgment for dangerous situations. It’s hard to tell your kids that they can’t work alongside you. If you don’t want to stifle their enthusiasm, why not give them their own workstation that will be safe for them?

The Powertools PLAYMAT 4 in 1 Workshop is the closest your kid will come to touching power tools before they’re a teenager. This will give them the ability to saw, drill, and sand, without chopping off their digits. This can convert from one function to another in a few seconds. It also comes equipped with a wood turning lathe. It has a child-safe power adapter, illustrated instructions, and a few pieces of wood to start out on. If your kid blazes through a few projects, it’s recommended to get plywood or balsa if you want to give them more to work on. This kit is about $80, and isn’t recommended for kids under 8 as it still has some potential for injury.

  • I had one of these as a kid! I remember my dad buying one each for my brother and I from toys r us. We had some great times with it.
