Regenerative Agriculture – sustainable farming protects the soil

Dirt is very important to the future. It holds carbon and grows plants. We, humans, need both of those things to live. Climate change is going to make growing food harder for many people and order to combat that, we need to have the healthiest soil we can. Regenerative Agriculture is a sustainable farming option.

Regenerative agriculture is the practice of planting just one crop in a field, you plant many for a variety of bonuses to the health of the soil. Less loss to erosion, more biodiversity, and more carbon capturing power to name a few benefits.

Early adopters have seen great success in their yield and the practice is posed to take on the coming crisis. The practice has great potential to help with food shortages and the industry is open to it. The cornfields of tomorrow might look a lot different than what we’re used to seeing today.
