Rohan PowerStation Gloves – for when your hands demand toasty

rohanpowerstationgloves

Sure, it’s all well and good talking about ‘cold hands, warm heart’, but that’s not much consolation when you’re out there in the freezing weather and your fingers feel like they’re about to ice up and drop off. And no, Jack, those fake fur ribbed mittens from the dollar shop do not, repeat not, do very much at all to stop the creeping frostbite. What we need at times like this is something nuclear.

The PowerStation Gloves, from travel equipment specialists Rohan, combine a hard core ThermoKnit liner with a rechargeable lithium battery to deliver up to a day’s worth of heat to your long suffering fingers. The liner is smart enough to self-regulate, and so keep your hands at a constant temperature, no need to fiddle with dials. The gloves are also waterproof and feature leather palms and soft nose wipe’ sections on the thumbs.

You’re probably never going to wear these to the ball Princess, but for £125.00 a pair, they could be just the thing for those chilly days out on the frozen plains.
