Look, we’re all for progress, right? We love the advance of technology and the smell of burnt solder in the morning. But sometimes, just occasionally, someone in marketing gets a hangover and comes up with a product so bizarre that you start to wonder about the world in general.
The Rollie Eggmaster is a…oh good grief do we have to continue? Really? O.K., so the Rollie Eggmaster is a pop up cooker for eggs. That’s right, you drop an egg or two into the top, hit the button, and a few minutes later up comes an egg on a stick. Or a tube egg. Or an egg roll. Or whatever the heck you want to call it.
Everyone in the video ad looks really happy to be eating some ridonkulously shaped egg confection, but we’re not so sure the world is ready for eggs that look like lollipops. Not to mention the fact that you’re going to get all yolk at one end and all tasteless whites at the other (gravity, see?).
You know what they say? If the world was meant to eat tubular eggs, our chickens would look like lumberjacks. Or something. On special ‘promotion‘ at just $29.99 a unit complete with other useless bits and pieces. [Thanks Barry]
